Alta Ann Miller, 94, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at CareOne Redstone in East Longmeadow. Born in Burlington, Vermont, at the age of three she was adopted by the late Maurice and Winifred (Patterson) Gove.
Alta was a supervisor at Packaging Service in Agawam for several years. She enjoyed her Friday night get-togethers with close friends. She loved driving her corvettes and was a beautiful dancer.
She was predeceased by her lifelong friend, Fannie Byrd “Byrdie” and sister, Maureen Steadman. She is survived by her niece, Brenda Braunstein, nephew, Raymond Steadman, stepsister, Priscilla Heininger, stepbrother, Clayton Gove, dear friends, Yvette Ledoux and Ruth Purcell, close friends, Bonnie Arena, Diane Price, Denise Picard, Debbie Burrill, Joan Valentino, Cathy Sotiropoulos, Carol McGurn, Terry Lamothe, Janet Lebeau, Michael Turgeon, Jerry Walaszek, and phone buddy, Claire Jarvis. She also leaves to cherish her memory her special and caring friend, Joan Jarvis,and their cat Gizmo.

Alta’s funeral services were private. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
