I was watching Chalice of Salvation this past Sunday and saw the Barbara‘s name listed. I had the pleasure of having Barbara teach two of my students in third grade at Sixteen Acres/Walsh School. I went on to have the pleasure of working with her. One of the most dedicated teachers I have ever had the pleasure of being with. I will never forget enjoying morning break in the teachers room and her enjoying her breakfast of what ever she had for dinner the night before. I have thought of her often and always enjoyed seeing her at the civic center or six flags. The lord has another beautiful angel!
I love this photo of Barbara. I first met Barbara more than several years ago when we served on the Council of Children board in western MA. We were both in education. I would see her occasionally in our town and then later on a regular basis at various events where she worked after her retirement. She was a huge racing fan and knew all the fans, the drivers, and their teams. I asked that her obituary be shared on the Stafford Speedway page. She was greatly missed the passed 2 years at Stafford. She was a wonderful person and always made you feel important. I miss her. She loved sharing about her children and grandchildren. With deepest sy…
Ms. Daboul was my daughters teacher at Walsh. She was an amazing person and teacher. After her retirement, we would run into her at events at the Mass Mutual Center, Symphony Hall, and Six Fags. She always took care of us when she saw us. She really cared about her students and their families and often spoke of her family as well. She will truly be missed and my sincerest condolences to her family.
I am saddened to hear about hearing the loss of a great woman and awesome teacher. She was my 3rd grade teacher at Mary M. Walsh School. She inspired me to become a teacher and she also helped me when I needed to do practicums in her classroom. She made learning so much fun. I also enjoyed talking and visiting her at 6 Flags New England/ Riverside Park at the race track and foods. She would hook me up with food and drinks at a very cheap price when she could. I would see at the Mass Mutual center at various events and chat. She was like family to me. She adored my son and came to his birthday parties.…
Two of my boys had her for their 4th grade teacher at Mary Walsh School. She was a favorite of ours. They also worked at the Mass Mutual Center and connected with her again there. Wonderful teacher!
