Dolores (Azeglio) Fratamico, 89, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2019, surrounded by her two loving daughters. Born and raised in Springfield, Dolores was the daughter of the late Antonio & Lidia (Sappino) Azeglio. She was educated in Springfield schools. After graduating High School of Commerce, Dolores went on to work as a clerk for Farmers’ Land Bank, then as a
paraprofessional for Springfield’s school department. Dolores was a devoted wife
and mother. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Marianne & Linda
Fratamico of Springfield, her grandson Austin Balsam, her great-granddaughter
Arianna Bella O’Keefe and several nieces & nephews. Sadly, Dolores was pre- deceased by her husband of 60 years, Thomson Fratamico. Dolores’ family would like to extend a special thank you to; caregivers Tracey, Bonnie, Rachael, Shimika, Thelma & Ivette who were more like family; Greater Senior Services of Springfield; Beacon Hospice; and Dr. James Haines for all they did over the years. Dolores’ funeral will begin Thursday, June 27, 9:30AM at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust St. in Springfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at Mt.
