Dorothy A. (Castelvetri) Marino, 102, died peacefullyon October 24, 2023.

A lifelong resident of Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Luigi & Marianna (Tarozzi) Castelvetri.

Dorothy loved to cook, especially making homemade tortellini. But her very favorite thing to do was to spend time with her beloved family and dear friends.

Dorothy leaves behind her sons, Richard (Eileen) Marino of Agawam and Ronald (Christy) Marino of Marco Island, FL. Dorothy also leaves 5 granddaughters, Lee (John) Biase, Christy Marino, Jillian Marino, Andrea (Drew) Scheff, and Gina (Jesse) Beaudoin, 4 great-grandchildren, and her niece & best friend Margie Plasse.

Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis R. Marino.

To honor Dorothy’s wishes, her funeral services and burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery were held privately.

Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Hospice of Longmeadow and Shriners Children’s Hospital of Springfield.
