Elizabeth Santiago


Elizabeth (Cuoco) Santiago, 82, was called safely home to Heaven on September 11th. Born in Springfield on January 20, 1937 she was a lifelong resident and was the daughter of Antonio & Josephine (Fucillo) Cuoco. Elizabeth was proud to have worked as a Personal Care Attendant for the Visiting Nurse Association for over 20 years. She was an avid bingo player and loved her dog, “Mimi.” Elizabeth cared for her brothers and sisters throughout their lives, enabling them to have many loving holidays with the family and also remembering all of their birthdays. She will be dearly missed by her sons Pete Alicea & wife Paula of Ludlow, Michael Alicea of W. Springfield and her daughter Rose Bousquet of Virginia. Sadly, she was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Curran in 2005; along with her brothers Florio, George, Thomas, John, Angelo and sisters Louise, Mary and Antoinette. She was a grandmother to 10 and a great grandmother to many. All are invited to her funeral at the Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust St. in Springfield on Monday, September 16th with a calling hour from 9-10 AM.
