Fausto “Fitzy” Zabeni, 100, passed away June 27, 2019. Fitzy was born in Palmer, MA to Flamino & Angelina (Vella) Zabeni. He proudly served in the US Army during WW II, then worked in the Massachusetts Office of the State Auditor. A graveside service, with military honors, will be Tuesday, July 2, 11:30 at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Fitzy, you were one of the nicest and funniest man I ever knew. Had the honor of being your friend for many many years. Playing golf with you, visiting you at Panera’s in the morning and when you were ill. Miss you already. May God have mercy on your soul. Your friend, Ronnie Stevens
