Gail D. (Wheeler) Cosby, 85, went home to the arms of our Lord on November 6, 2020. Born in Haverhill, in 1935, she was the daughter of the late Murray S. & Mary (Jeffrey) Wheeler.
A communicant of LifePoint Church, formerly Tabernacle Baptist, Gail devoted decades of service to our Lord Jesus Christ. She accepted Christ as her Savior in 1975 and led an exemplary Christian life. Anyone who knew her will remember her sweetness, kindness and giving nature. She touched countless lives with her living testament as a daughter of the King; our Heavenly Lord of Lords. She is resting in His arms and has been reunited with her first husband, Kenneth C. Green who died in 1986; we take comfort in this fact. She will be dearly missed by all and our hearts are heavy with her loss.
Mom, we are so glad that we will be reunited with you some time in the future. Enjoy your treasures in Heaven and all the loved ones that went before you! You are restored and whole once again. We love you and are so grateful to have had you as a mother!
Gail leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Robert Cosby, son, Bradley Green, of Southbridge, daughters, Barbara Towne, of Port Orange, FL, & Bonnie Meade, of Springfield, along with their spouses, and will be dearly missed by her many beloved grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Gail will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2:00 p.m. at LifePoint Church, 603 New Ludlow Road, in Chicopee; Bryan Olden, Spiritual Life Pastor, presiding. Her family will receive guests at 1:30 p.m. Masks and social distancing required per Gov. Baker.
