Geraldine Ann (Germain) Macri, 76, longtime resident of Ludlow, MA. Eldest child of Gerald & Ruth (LaMondia) Germain. Brothers George (deceased), Donald, and sister Maudine. Graduated from Commerce High School. Married Paul Carmen Macri(deceased) in 1963. Devoted mother to Christopher, Timothy, Matthew, daughter-in-law Lisa and granddaughters Claudia & Madelyn Macri. Worked for Monarch Life Insurance from 1976-1993 as an Executive Assistant, and at Fidelity Investments from 1993-2005. She was an avid runner, hiker, and bicyclist. With her family and friends, Gerry enjoyed memorable outings with the Apache Camping Club, Monarch bus trips to see the Red Sox, traveling with Paul to see the grandchildren in Ohio, and any opportunity to see her sons on stage or on the ice. She is survived by her sister Maudine & brother-in-law David Gonyea, brother Donald, brother-in-law Robert Greene, sister-in-law June St. Amand, brother-in-law Jeff Macri, her three sons, granddaughters, and many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust St. in Springfield. Gerry’s funeral service will begin Wednesday, 9 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt.
