Henrietta Marion (Pio) Foisy of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully, July 1, 2022. Born in Springfield on May 28, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Concetta (Ottavio) Pio.
A music and sports fan, Henrietta lived a long and inspirational life always supporting her true love, her family. She enjoyed spending time playing cards with friends, traveling frequently, was a member of the Enfield Senior Center and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William H. Foisy, brother, Pasquale Pio, sisters, Gilda Brisbois, Angelina Russo, and son-in-law, Ace Johnson.
Henrietta is survived by her adoring children, William Foisy (Calista) of Hendersonville, NC, Marilyn Johnson of Springfield, and Linda Kane (Bill) of E. Longmeadow, grandsons, Jeffrey Kane (partner Brian Chaisson), Michael Kane (Darcy), great-grandsons, Zachery, Nicholas, Noah and Joseph Kane, along with other extended family.
Family and friends are invited to visit, Thursday, July 7, from 4-6 p.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield. Henrietta’s funeral will begin Friday, 10 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to her 11 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow, followed by her burial at Longmeadow Cemetery.
