Joan H. (Hogan) Samalionis, 93, daughter of the late Harry & Helen (Barber) Hogan, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2019. Born in North Adams, she was raised in Springfield, spent most of her life in Pittsfield, then spent her retirement between Cape Cod & Bradenton, FL. She was married to the love of her life, the late Anthony Samalionis, whom she missed dearly upon his passing in 2011. Joan was the Director of Employment Security for the Cities of Pittsfield & North Adams for many years. Joan leaves her loving sister Jean Doyle of Springfield, and her niece Melissa Allen of FL, and the loves of her life, her many nieces & nephews. Sadly, she was predeceased by her brother Jack Hogan & sister Janet Hottin. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Celebrated, Wednesday April 17th at 11AM at St. Mary’s
