Joseph Iellamo

Joseph “Pa” Iellamo, 90, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021.

Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Giuseppe & Nellie (Zucco) Iellamo.

Joe was the proprietor of several businesses including the Windsor Court and Country Corners Bars, along with being a real estate developer of several sub-divisions. But his real joy was his boxing career, with an impressive 27-1 record. Joe also loved cruising the open waters with his daughter Gina and her husband Jeff, all while enjoying gourmet meals.

Joe is survived by his, son, Joseph, daughter, Gina Wittnebert & husband Jeffrey of Warren, MA, beloved grandchildren & great-grandchildren, brother, Peter of FL, sister Mary St. Germain & husband Roger of Agawam, sister-in-law, Ann Marie Iellamo of Longmeadow, and many nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by his, daughters, Debra Eaton & Joni Ensign, son John, grandson Michael, brothers, Paul & Domenick, and sisters, Nancy Scully, Frances Carestia, Camella Salvon & Catherine Maloney.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, June 15, 4-5:30 p.m., with a 5:30 p.m. prayer service at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield. His burial will be at the convenience of his family.
