Kelly Marie (Ward) Albano, 53, died in a tragic car accident on March 11, 2022.
Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Rosalie (Libiszewski) Ward.
Growing up in Indian Orchard, Kelly was a graduate of Cathedral High school, S.T.C.C., and A.I.C. She went on to work for Shatz, Schwartz & Fentin P.C., Libbos Law, and most recently as the loving caretaker of her late mother.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Alfonse S. Albano, adored children & whole world, Gianna, Sofia, & Joe, aunts, Katherine Kilbride, Christine Ward & Eileen Ward, mother-in-law, Maria Albano, sister-in-law, Lisa Meccia & husband Sandro, their children, Anthony, Mia, Isabella & Sandro, along with her godchildren, extended family members, Maria & Lucrezia, special squad of friends, Beth, Michael, Jenn, Nadine, & Diana, as well as her beloved dog, Niles.
She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Joseph Albano and uncle, George Kilbride.
To know her was to absolutely love her. She immediately lit up the entire room when she walked in. Kelly will be remembered for her amazing smile, quick wit, and uncanny zest for life. It was guaranteed, with her laugh, sense of humor, and off the chart energy, to never be a dull moment.
She was a free spirit who loved music, dancing, fashion, animals, and children. She was immensely generous to everyone that came into her life. She appreciated the little things and lived life to the fullest.
The thing that brought her the most joy was spending time with family and friends and although she was an only child, Kelly lived her life surrounded by her large circle of friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, March 17, from 4-6 p.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, and then Friday morning, meeting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for her 10 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial. Kelly’s committal will be at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers, please strongly consider a memorial contribution to the Joseph, Gianna & Sofia Albano Family Fund, 32 Hampden Rd., E. Longmeadow, MA 01028.
