Maria R. (Zenga) Adamski, peacefully passed away, Friday, December 31, 2021.
Born in Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of a prolific orchestra conductor, the late Professore Carlo & Carmela (Cassino) Zenga, and predeceased by her beloved siblings, Salvatore & Antonietta Zenga & Giuseppina “Pina” Becker, and husband, Frank T. Adamski. She will be forever remembered for her sincere kindness and the love of her family.
Maria will be missed dearly by her daughter, Carol Maggi & husband Joseph of Springfield, sister, Anna Krinsky of Colorado, brother, Benito Zenga & wife Eva of Italy; nephews & nieces, Daniella Zenga, Charles Krinsky, Jeffrey Krinsky & wife Cynthia Leonard-Krinsky, Bridgette Langevin & husband Steve, Anthony Becker & wife Karoline, Charles Becker, Thomas Becker & wife Michelle, and many other beloved family members.
Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, January 9, 6-8 p.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield. Maria’s Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Cathedral, 260 State Street in Springfield. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Palmer. Masks are required.
