Maryangela J. (Bianconi) Hill, 96, a devoted wife, a loving aunt, and a gracious hostess, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in East Longmeadow. She was born on Independence Day, July 4, 1927, in her beloved hometown of East Longmeadow.
Maryangela’s life was marked by a deep commitment to family. She was married to the late Robert Hill for over 40 years, a testament to her unwavering dedication as a wife. She cherished her parents, Ida (Lombardi) and Alphonso Bianconi, and held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews, particularly Kathleen Bianconi Donatello and Kristen Bianconi. Her great-nieces, Mia and Lydie Donatello, were recipients of her boundless love and affection.
Maryangela's incredible bond with her brother, Paul Bianconi, was a source of immense joy in her life. She was predeceased by Paul in November 2022, and their close relationship left an indelible mark on those who knew them.
Ellie Kyc, her beloved cousin, and best friend, fondly remembers Maryangela as "her big sister." Their friendship was a testament to the deep connections that Maryangela fostered throughout her life. Maryangela's warm hospitality was a hallmark of her character. She was known for hosting countless gatherings over the years, creating cherished memories for family during holidays and special occasions.
Maryangela's legacy of love, warmth, and generosity will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Maryangela's longtime caregivers, Barbara Nehmer and Maura Lessard, for their unwavering support and care. Additionally, they express deep appreciation to the dedicated staff at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing, with a special thank you to Elizabeth Barima-Twum, for her exceptional care during Maryangela’s final days.
All are invited to visit on Monday, October 30th, 9:30 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, a Prayer Service will begin at 10:30 a.m., proceeding to Maryangela’s final resting place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
