Michael A. Eaton, 66, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2019 following a long illness. Born in Springfield, he was the son of Shirley (Isham) Ampelakis and Alfred Eaton. A graduate of the High School of Commerce, Michael worked several years for Consolidated Freightways in Chicopee. Michael will be sadly missed by his son Michael R. Eaton of Northampton, his brother Peter Ampelakis and wife Sally of W. Springfield, his nephew Peter Ampelakis, and his nieces Marian Padilla and Alicia Eaton. Michael was pre-deceased by his parents, brother Robert, sister Karen, and his beloved nephew Tony Ampelakis. Services were private.
