Nancy Jean (McNally) Carabetta, 70, was taken too soon on April 25, 2021.
Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Patrick & Roetta (Vaughn) McNally.
Nancy was a florist by trade and owned Flowers by Dee in East Longmeadow for many years. After retiring she kept herself busy by working part-time at Donut Dip. She was a beloved friend to all, always willing to listen and share a laugh. While an amazing wife and mother, she was an even more amazing grandmother. Once her grandchildren were born, they became her life. She devoted countless hours helping to care for them and pouring all the love she had into their happiness.
Nancy will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Joseph Carabetta, son, Jeffrey Carabetta & wife Addie of East Longmeadow, daughter, Jennifer Pelletier & husband Nicholas of Wilbraham, stepson, Gary Carabetta & wife Debra of FL, brothers, Patrick H. McNally & wife Cathy of East Longmeadow, Charles McNally & wife Debra of Springfield, sisters, Patricia Schwartz of Springfield, and Kathleen Cournoyer & husband Richard of Feeding Hills, 4 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Nancy was predeceased by her stepson Brian Carabetta, and brothers, Timothy, James & John McNally.
Family and friends are invited to Nancy’s funeral services Tuesday, May 4, 2021 with a visitation from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, proceeding to her 10:30 a.m. funeral mass at St. Michael's Parish, 128 Maple Street in East Longmeadow.
