Olga H. (Magnani) Sexton, 97, passed away at Care One at Redstone in East Longmeadow on June 19, 2023.
A lifelong resident of Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Gorrini) Magnani and grew up in the South End.
Olga graduated from Tech High School in 1944, and never missed a class reunion. She ran the Our Lady of Hope school cafeteria for 18 years, a job of which she loved and was very proud. She was a communicant of OLOH Church until it closed, then attending St. Michael's Cathedral & Sacred Heart Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard “Red” Sexton in 1976, brother, John, and sister, Josephine Petty.
Olga leaves behind her daughter, Noreen Milbier &husband John, son, Gary Sexton & wife Debbie, and her very special grandsons, Anthony & James Sexton.
A visiting hour will be held Monday, June 26, 9:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Cathedral, 260 State Street in Springfield; her funeral mass will begin at 10. Olga’sburial will be private.
