Pasqualina “Pat” A. Rivest


Pasqualina “Pat” Ann (Mascaro) Rivest, 86, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2021.

Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Joseph T. & Rose J. (Oppedisano) Mascaro.

Pat was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was employed by West Bank for many years, retiring at the age of seventy.

Pat will be dearly missed by her loving daughters, Joanne Daponte & husband Mark of Enfield, and Donna Liebel & husband Thomas of Longmeadow. “Nonnie” will be greatly missed by her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Benjamin (Jen) Liebel, Emily (Paul) Lasch, Kate Daponte, Vinnie Daponte, and beloved great-grandchildren, Lucas, Brayden, Madison & Landon. Pat is also survived by her brother Joseph Mascaro & wife Fran, as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews. Pat will be fondly remembered by the many dear friends she made over the years.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, October 28, from 2-4 p.m., at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield. Pat’s funeral services will begin Friday, 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home, proceeding to her 10 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, masks are required, followed by her burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
