Ruth Frances (Hover) Alissi, 92, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2020, in Peabody.
Born in Springfield, she attended Springfield schools before marrying the love of her life, Geno J. Alissi, Sr., in 1949. Ruth and Geno spent over 50 wonderful years together, before his passing in 2001.
Ruth was the consummate homemaker and enjoyed time spent with her family. She was also a member of the Caspano Club in Westfield.
Ruth is survived by her son, Geno J. Alissi, Jr. & wife Maureen of Marblehead, two beloved granddaughters, Adriana Alissi of NC & Nicole Alissi of Boston, and stepsister Carol Collins of Springfield.
Sadly, she was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Maddalena Alissi.
Family and friends are invited to Ruth’s funeral services, Wednesday, August 12, beginning at 9 a.m., with a 10 a.m. Prayer service, at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust St. in Springfield; burial will follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Masks & social distancing required.
