Stefani M. Hartman

Stefanie Mary (Sebastyanski) Hartman, 101, Longtime resident of Springfield, who then lived in Brimfield for 8 years, and spent her final years in Agawam, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2020. Born in Springfield in 1918, she was the daughter of the late Adolf & Michalina (Rojowska) Sebastyanski of Poland.

Stefanie was the consummate entrepreneur. Along with a bakery in Enfield, a farm in Hamden, she was also the owner of Tri-State Plumbing Distributors for many years, then worked for McClean Plumbing Supply and later in life at Big Y in East Longmeadow as a food service demonstrator. She was always on the go. She loved horses and spending time with friends and family.

Stefanie will be dearly missed by her nieces & nephew, Linda Steininger of Dover, NH, Donna Sebastyanski of York, ME, Patti Ann Siniscalchi & husband Vincent of Brimfield, and Brian Sebastyanski of York, ME along with many great-nieces and nephews

Sadly, she was pre-deceased by her brother Alfred, sister Emily Charest, nephews Richard & Wayne Sebastyanski, and husband Anthony Hartman.

A special thank you goes to her niece Patti Ann who stepped in as her caretaker and advocate for many years.

And thank you all at Agawam Healthcare Nursing Home for the love and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, February 7 from 9-10 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust St. in Springfield. A Prayer Service will start at 10 followed by her burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate, in her memory, to a charity of your choice.
