Albina (Zuccalo) Gonnello, 100, passed away peacefully, May 11, 2021, the day after celebrating her 100th birthday with family and friends.
Born in East Longmeadow, she was the daughter of the late Dominic & Theresa (Gentile) Zuccalo.
Albina lived a simple yet fulfilling life, raising a beautiful family, who she loved dearly, and making many wonderful friends along the way.
Albina will be missed by her beloved daughters, Mary Gonnello of Westfield, Judy Baker of NC, Patricia Christensen & Barbara George, both of Winchester, NH, and her 14 cherished grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Gonnello in 2003.
Family and friends are invited to Albina’s funeral services Tuesday, May 18, 2021 with a visitation from 9-10 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, proceeding to her 10:30 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Springfield, followed by her burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Masks and social distancing required at all.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, that Mass Cards be made in Albina’s memory.
