Craig Alan Hayes, 55, passed away unexpectedly due to complications from an underlying illness, August 20, 2020. Born in Penn Yan, NY, he was the son of Andrew D. & Phyllis (Snyder) Hayes, currently of East Longmeadow.
Craig was raised in Springfield then spent much of his adult life in Florida, where he owned a landscaping service. An independent contractor by trade, Craig had been a resident of Agawam these past years. He was a caring and loving person who enjoyed life and being kind to others. His love for all things sports was only superseded by his love for his family.
Along with his parents, Craig leaves his son, Craig of Connecticut, stepdaughter, Amber of Florida, dear friends, Brian Coughlin, Wayne & Matthew Harrington, and many aunts, uncles, & cousins. Sadly, Craig was predeceased by his sister Kimberly.
All are invited to Craig’s Memorial Service, Wednesday, September 9, 3 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Longmeadow; masks and social distancing required. Burial will be private.
