Joseph Fred Seymour, Sr., 76, died May 22, 2022, surrounded by family. Born in Springfield on December 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Rose (Drohat) & Fred Seymour, Sr.
Joe was a proud U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Being stationed in both Korea & Vietnam, he served his country from 1963-1966.
He was well known for his amazing bowling skills, his love for taking long motorcycle rides with Pat on “Rosie,” and his love for camping & bonfires. He was loved by so many, as his sense of humor always put a smile on your face, and he made everyone feel like family. He believed he came into this world “childlike”, and we firmly believe he left this world “childlike” just as he hoped.
His greatest joy in life was making moments & memories with his beloved family.
Joseph was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Lily. He leaves his wife, Patricia (Kelly) Seymour, 4 Children, Shirley, Jackie, Joseph, Jr. & wife Pam, and Lisa, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, May 26, 4-7 p.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield. Joseph’s burial will be private.
