Daniel John Boisjoli, 64, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Alexandria, LA, the son of the late Sgt. J. A. Bertrand and Doris L. (Barrette) Boisjoli.
He graduated from Putnam Vocational Technical High School where he received the Welder of the Year award. He went on to pursue a lifelong career in welding at Digital in Westfield.
He participated in a softball league for many years and was a fierce competitor. He also enjoyed watching professional sports especially, the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and New England Patriots.
Daniel is survived by his son, Justin Boisjoli of Southampton, daughter Ashley Boisjoli Gogal, husband James & new grandson Hudson of Westfield, brother-in-law Michael Szklarz & wife Fatima of FL, and will be missed by his loyal friend Mark, and cousins in Rhode Island.
He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine E. Szklarz.
