Mary Louise (Iellamo) St. Germain, 89, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022.
Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe & Nellie (Zucco) Iellamo.
Mary had a 50+ year career at Big Y Supermarkets, where she was a front-end manager and trained cashiers and office staff. She loved to visit the casino with her friends and enjoyed lottery scratch tickets…always hoping to hit, “the big one!” She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was so good at keeping track of everyone’s life and visiting with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Roger L. St. Germain, daughters, Cindy Pereira & husband Jaime, and Nancy Morris (predeceased by her husband Michael Morris), brother Peter Iellamo, sisters-in-law, Ann Marie Iellamo and Barbara Iellamo, grandchildren, Daniel Pereira, Jonathan Pereira & wife Gretchen, Nicholas Pereira & wife Brittany, and Caitlyn LaBonte & husband Jon Kehl, great-grandchildren, Chloe & Chaleesi Kehl and Olivia Pereira, several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul, Domenick& Joseph Iellamo, and sisters, Nancy Scully, Frances Carestia, Camella Salvon & Catherine Maloney.
Services will be held at a later date.
