Mari-Louise “Mary” (Maheu) Grimaldi, 72, born in Agawam, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020, from complications of COVID-19. She was raised in a large family with the love & support of her Aunts & Uncles.
Mari is a graduate of St. John’s School of Business. She was an administrative assistant at Titeflex and kitchen manager at Café Midnight, both in Springfield. Later, Mari found her passion caring for others while pursuing a nursing degree and working as a nurses’ aide at the Jewish and E. Longmeadow Nursing Homes.
Mari leaves behind her sons, John J. Grimaldi & wife Amy of Mt. Dora, FL, and Frank A. Grimaldi & wife Carla of Springfield, beloved grandchildren, Katelyn of Mt. Dora, Stefen, Sam, Bella & Lucia all of Springfield, brother, Michael, and many loving cousins.
Family & friends are invited to Mari's Liturgy of Christian Burial, Friday, June 12, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Springfield, followed by her burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Please adhere to the Diocesan directive requiring masks & social distancing.
